Lori started her Group Fitness instructor adventure when she became a "Johnny G" certified Spinning instructor in 1995. With a desire to diversify, in 1998, she completed her general Group Fitness Instructor certification with AFAA. Through that organization, she completed her Mat Science and Yoga certifications in 2003 - 4. In 2005, she hung up her bike shoes for the last time to focus on Pilates and Yoga. In 2007, she completed the Pilates Mat certification with Mia Sheid at Fitness Arts. After several years of teaching both formats, "I decided my heart was truly pushing me toward Yoga exclusively. I felt as if the Pilates training made me more aware of alignment in Yoga which in turn has helped my students." As of February 2012, she will have completed her "200 Hour Yoga Certification" at the Himalayan Yoga and Meditation Center in Palatine, IL. "I'm pretty giddy to soon be able to put 200RYT after my name. I love what I do!"
